Damascus, SANA- Chargé d’affaires at the Omani Embassy in Damascus, Khaled bi Salem al-Saadi highlighted the strong and solid relations between Syria and Oman which are constantly enhanced to serve the best interests of the two brotherly countries.
During a reception held by the Omani Embassy at Damascus-based Dama Rose Hotel on Tuesday marking the 49th anniversary of Oman’s National Day, al-Saadi hoped that the bilateral relations will witness more prosperity and progress, and security and stability will return to Syria.
For his party, Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Fayssal Mikdad, said that “Oman well-maintained good relations with Syria,” congratulating the brotherly people of Oman on the National Day.
Mikdad affirmed desire to boost bilateral relations, referring to Oman’s participation in the activities of the 61st session of Damascus International Fair, as well as the visit paid by a Syrian delegation headed by Minister of Culture Mohammed Al-Ahmad to Muscat through which a cooperation agreement was signed related to the rehabilitation of monuments and cultural delegations exchange.
