New development projects put into service at al-Muwasat University Hospital

Damascus, SANA – Al-Muwasat University Hospital on Saturday put into service a number of development projects with an overall cost of SYP 1.4 billion.

The projects involved renovating the one-day operations and external ear operations department, linking operating rooms to auditoriums to provide live feed for students, renovating the digestive endoscopy department, relaunching the CT scan department, renovating the fifth floor with a capacity of 100 beds, and more.

Since the start of 2019 and until September 30th, the hospital has received 101,806 patients while its outpatient clinics received 105,429 patients, and carried out a total of 14,643 surgical procedures.
