SARAC, Hasaka Branch distributes 1875 food packages in Hasaka

Hasaka, SANA- Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC), Hasaka branch distributed food assistance among the displaced people in Hasaka city neighborhoods.

SARC Branch said in a statement that relief materials including 1,875 food baskets were distributed among the displaced families in the neighborhoods of al-Naserah, al-Sharia, al-Nashwa al-Gharbiyeh and al-Sharqiyeh in Hasaka city.

The statement added that the food assistance is granted by the World Food program (WFP), indicating that the distribution process will continue over the next period for the displaced people in the rest of the neighborhoods.

Over the past few days, SARC in Hasaka distributed 3,800 food packages and 6,940 winter clothes packages among the families which are residing at al-Arisha camp and those who are coming from Mabroukeh and Ain Issa camps, in addition to distributing 500 food packages among the displaced people in Tal Tamer area.
