Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain from 3 to 5 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the weather will be relatively hot and the skies will be partly cloudy and they will become cloudy in the afternoon as thundershowers are expected to fall, particularly over the southern, al-Badia “semi-desert” and al-Qalamoun regions while the weather will be misty in the eastern region.
The wind will be easterly to southeasterly with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 32/12, Daraa 32/18, Homs 32/19, Lattakia 36/26, Aleppo 34/20 and Deir Ezzor 36/22.
