Syrian al-Jazeera, SANA – Public outcry and protests against the US-backed Qasad (SDF) militias and their crimes and abduction campaigns continue in several areas in the Syrian al-Jazeera area.
Local sources in Deir Ezzor said that the people of Jdaidet Bakara in the province’s southeastern countryside organized a protest against Qasad, calling for the militias to be expelled from their village and denouncing their crimes, as the militias have been carrying out raids and detaining people under cover from US occupation forces.
The sources said Qasad is still abducting people and raiding houses in al-Jazeera area, with the most recent incident taking place in al-Tabaqa town in Raqqa’s western countryside where Qasad members abducted two people under the pretext that they had organized protests against them, while other militia members beat up a man in the same city.
