Sochi-SANA – Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov reiterated his country’s support to Syria in combating terrorism and eliminating the remaining terrorists in Idleb province.
Lavrov stressed, in a press conference following his meeting with Zionist entity’s prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Sochi on Thursday, the necessity of respecting Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
He called for contributing to the return of the displaced Syrians to their homeland and to support the Syrian government’s efforts in this regard.
He pointed out that Russian President Vladimir Putin affirmed that the western economic measures against Syria are useless.
