Moscow, SANA – Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Oleg Syromolotov stressed that the drones used by terrorists to attack Russian forces in Syria were equipped with Western technology.
Sputnik Russian News Agency quoted Syromolotov as saying at the 2nd International Conference on Combating the Illegal Supply of Weapons to Combat International Terrorism, held in Russia, that this technology is frequently used to attack Russian positions in Syria, adding that these drones are not manufactured manually.
He called for the development of legal and technical measures to combat the use of such drones by terrorists and to cooperate with all partners in the fight against terrorism in this regard.
