Damascus, SANA- Ambassador of Brazil in Damascus, Fabio Vaz Pitaluga, underlined that Damascus International Fair has showed that Syria is going ahead towards peace and construction in spite of the unilateral, coercive measures imposed on the Syrian people.
“The participation of the Brazilian-Arab Chamber of commerce in the Fair shows the Brazilian companies’ willingness to have a share in the reconstruction process in Syria,” the ambassador told SANA.
He added that the wonderful opening ceremony sent a great message to the world about Syria’s resilience and its readiness to return to normal and building the future.
Pitaluga pointed out to the importance of restring the Syrian-Brazilian relations to what they have been before the crisis, adding that the first half of this year witnessed an increase in the volume of trade exchange between the two countries.
Chairman of Brazilian-Arab Chamber of commerce, Walid Yazaji, said that he participated in the Fair, as representative of the Chamber, to get acquainted with the investment opportunities in Syria.
The Brazilian-Arab Chamber of commerce comprises nearly 4000 companies work in different domains.
