Baghdad, SANA- Director General of the Exhibitions at the Iraqi Trade Ministry Eng. Hashem Hatem said that holding the 61st edition of Damascus International Fair affirms Syria’s victory over the US-Zionist conspiracy and its terrorist tools.
In a statement to SANA reporter in Baghdad, Hatem said “Damascus International Fair deals a strong blow to the terrorism , particularly it is being held for the second time in a row with a very wide participation which affirms Syria’s victory over the US-Zionist terrorist aggression.”
He indicated that Iraq will continue its participation in Damascus International Fair, particularly after signing a memo of understanding and cooperation between the Iraqi and Syrian sides in the domain of fairs.
In a similar statement, Syria’s Ambassador to Iraq Sattam Jadaan al-Dandah underlined the importance of holding the 61st edition of Damascus International Fair and the Iraqi participation in it.
The Ambassador added that Iraq’s participation in the Fair will contribute to broadening the prospects of economic and trade cooperation between the two brotherly countries so as to reach the hoped-for economic integration.
