Dushanbe , SANA- Minister of Defense of Tajikistan Sherali Mirzo affirmed that cooperation between the Syrian Arab Army and the Russian Aerospace Forces is a good example of a successful fight against international terrorism.

Mirzo’s remarks came during the opening session of the Committee of the Chiefs of the General Staff of the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) Armed Forces held in the Tajik capital of Dushanbe.

Mirzo said that the spread of Daesh(ISIS) terrorists’ influence has stopped thanks to the coordinated and interdependent actions between the Syrian Arab Army and the Russian Aerospace Forces as this defeat forced many terrorists and extremists to move to other countries, especially Afghanistan.
