Temperatures to rise, weather very hot in eastern, al-Jazeera areas

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will rise to become from 1 to 3 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure coming from the southeast and accompanied by a slight high air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday bulletin that the weather will be relatively hot and the skies will be clear in general while the weather will be misty and very hot in the eastern and al-Jazeera areas.

The wind will be westerly to southwesterly with a low to moderate speed and it will be active in the central and eastern regions while the sea waves will be low in height.

The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 37/20, Daraa 34/20, Homs 34/23, Lattakia 31/26, Aleppo 38/24 and Deir Ezzor 44/26.
