Cabinet allocates 25% of private sector imports funded by CBS to Syrian Trading

Damascus, SANA – The Cabinet focused in its weekly session on providing essential goods and needs for citizens, deciding to expand the work of the Syrian Trading company by opening more retail outlets along with mobile retail points.

During the session chaired by Prime Minister Imad Khamis on Sunday, the Cabinet decided to allocate 25% of the private sector’s imports that are funded by CBS to Syrian Trading in order to sell them at reasonable prices, in addition to expanding the list of imported essential goods and increasing direct importation to cut out middle men and combat monopolies in the market.
