SARC starts distribution of new humanitarian aid among locals in Daraa Countryside

Daraa, SANA- The Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) Organization started to distribute food aid among the locals in Nawa city in Daraa northwestern countryside.

The Organization said in a statement that after starting to distribute 3,800 food baskets on Tuesday as a first stage, SARC teams delivered a humanitarian aid convoy to Nawa City in Daraa countryside.

The Organization said that the convoy consisted of 6 trucks and it is supported by the World Food Program (WFP), adding that it included  3,790 food baskets and 3,790 flour bags.

It indicated that work is underway to deliver aid to all the locals in the area over the coming days.

SARC branch in Daraa on Wednesday started the second  humanitarian response plan at several cities and towns in Daraa northwestern countryside which included distributing 6,650 food baskets and flour bags among locals.
