OPCW report shows the Organization’s official conclusions about alleged chemical incident in Douma contradict facts

The Hague, SANA – A report by Ian Henderson, an expert from the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), reflated that the conclusions of the official report issued by the OPCW regarding the chemical weapons attack that allegedly took place in Douma are inconsistent with reality and engineering evidence.

Henderson’s engineering assessment report regarding the alleged incident states that the tests conducted at two sites on location, as well as later investigation, show that the cylinders containing chemicals that were allegedly dropped from the air could only have been placed there manually from the ground.

The report said that experts ran a series of tests simulating the situation, concluding that in one of the cases, the effects of such an attack are inconsistent with the alleged effect of the incident, while in the second case, which involved a cylinder that supposedly crashed went through a roof, the cylinder’s valve remained intact, which would be impossible if the cylinder had actually made impact with the roof.

The report concluded that the dimensions, characteristics and appearance of the cylinders, and the surrounding scene of the incidents, were inconsistent with what would have been expected in the case of either cylinder being delivered from an aircraft,

Australian independent journalist Caitlin Johnstone had revealed on her blog the OPCW’s role in covering up reports by engineers who discovered that that cylinders we not dropped from the air, reports that refute the accusations directed at the Syrian Arab Army of carrying out a chemical attack, and that prove that terrorists were responsible for that incident.
