Prague, SANA- Member of the European Parliament for the Czech Republic Katerina Konecna affirmed that the war on Syria is coming to an end , indicating that many Syrian citizens who had been forced to leave their hometowns due to terrorism will return to the country to contribute to the reconstruction process in it.
“The Syrian Government supports the return of its citizens to their homeland and Europe should understand that and take it into its consideration and should contribute to facilitating their return,” Konecna said in an interview with Czech website of “Parliamentary Papers”.
Earlier, in an interview with the Czech TV, Konecna called for lifting the unilateral coercive measures imposed on Syria as they reflect a ” failed policy”.
She affirmed that lifting the sanctions will contribute to the return of the displaced Syrians to their homeland, particularly due to the fact that many of them want to return after liberating many areas from terrorism.
