Tehran, SANA – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif reiterated Iran’s position which affirms that Syrian people alone will decide their country’s future.
In an interview given to Der Spiegel on Saturday, Zarif said that the presence of Iranian advisors in Syria is upon a request from the Syrian government, and its only goal is to confront Takfiri terrorists.
He also said the main reason for chaos, extremism, and terrorism in the region is US interference, demanding that Washington withdraw its forces from the region.
