Daraa, SANA- The Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) branch in Daraa on Thursday delivered a humanitarian food convoy to 24 towns and villages in Daraa northeastern and northwestern countryside in the framework of the response to humanitarian needs in these areas.

Speaking to SANA’s reporter, chairman of SARC Branch in Daraa Dr. Ahmed al-Masalma said that 7950 food baskets and flour bags have being distributed among the locals of al-Lajat area in the northeastern countryside of Daraa and Ghabagheb town in the northwestern countryside of Daraa.

He indicated that the aid is provided by the World Food Program (WFP) , adding that 4000 food baskets and flour bags will be delivered to the locals of 23 towns in al-Lajat , and 3950 ones in Ghabagheb and its residences on Friday.
