During a meeting in Tehran on Sunday, the two sides pointed out to the danger of the terrorist organization of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) and the outbreak of violence and terrorism in the region.

The Iranian Foreign Minister hoped that de Mistura would succeed in his “positive and independent role” being the representative of the UN Secretary-General.
