Aleppo, SANA – The people of Ayn al-Arab city northeast of Aleppo continue to confront attempts by ISIS to take over the city, with the locals managing to regain controls of areas in the eastern part of the city.
Local sources said that the city’s people are putting up a strong fight and waging violent guerrilla battles against ISIS terrorists, killing 16 terrorists during the clashes on Friday night.
Media reports said that terrorists are using prohibited phosphorus explosives, with the Russian RT channel showing footage depicting ISIS crimes in the city.
On a relevant note, the U.S.-led international coalition carried out 3 airstrikes on Ayn al-Arab and its surroundings on Friday night, killing 15 ISIS members.
