Tehran, SANA- Special Advisor to the Iranian Shura Council’s Chairman Hossein Amir Abdollahian affirmed that the terrorist attack with toxic gases on safe residential neighborhoods in Aleppo is regrettable.
Meeting Russian Ambassador in Tehran Levan Jagarian, Abdollahian said “The new terrorist chemical attack on Aleppo is pre-planned by those who are willing to prolong the war and to undermine security in the region.”
For his part, Jagarian indicated that Iran and Russia exert intensive efforts to end the crisis in Syria and Yemen soonest possible, adding that the situations in Yemen are very bad.
He said that Astana summit has achieved a notable progress and the talks should continue to find a suitable political solution to the crisis in Syria.
During the meeting, the two sides also underlined the importance of enhancing parliamentary relations between the two countries.
