Provinces, SANA –Five civilians were killed Tuesday and three others were injured due to a terrorist attack with two rocket shells on al-Sabil neighborhood in Homs city.
A source in the province told SANA that terrorists fired a rocket shell at the city which landed on a house in the neighborhood, killing five civilians and causing material damage to homes and properties.
Earlier, a source said that two other rocket shells fired by terrorists fell near a primary education school in al-Sabil neighborhood, injuring three students and causing material damage to homes and private properties.
Meanwhile, Eight civilians, one of them a child, were injured on Tuesday in terrorist mortar attack on Baghdad St., al-Idashariye neighborhood, and al-Zablatani neighborhood in Damascus.
A source at Damascus Police Command told SANA reporter that a mortar round fired by terrorists hit Abdul-Rahman Assidik Mosque in Baghdad St., leaving four civilians injured, including a five-year-old girl, and causing material damage to the mosque and a number of cars.
Three other civilians were injured when three mortar shells fell on al-Idashariye neighborhood, causing material damage to a house and a number of cars, while another shell fell in al-Hal market in al-Zablatani, injuring one civilian and causing material damage.
Terrorists fired a number of mortar shells on the neighborhood of Harasta suburb in Damascus Countryside, causing material damage only.
A source at the Police Command told SANA that five shells fell on the area, causing damage to a number of vehicles, adding that the attack did not cause any human casualties.
