Syria wins 9 medals in Muay Thai World Championship

Beirut, SANA – Syria’s kickboxing team has won nine medals; 3 gold, 5 silver, and one bronze, at the Muay Thai World Champion, which is currently being held in Beirut, Lebanon.

The gold medals were won by Ali al-Jaghal in the 75 kg category, Imad Abu Hamdan in the 81 kg category, and Iyas Najm in the 85 kg category.

Three of the silver medals went to Ahmad Shaker in the 51 kg category, Ameen al-Saleh in the 71 kg category, Osama Daoud in the 75 kg category.

In the U18 competitions, Ahmad Mohammed Hassan won a silver medal in the 42 kg category, while in the women’s competitions Khitam Zahreddin won silver in the 57 kg category.

Obai Essa won the bronze medal in 75 kg category.
