Sousan: Syria determined to continue combating terrorism till eradicating it completely

Damascus, SANA-Assistant Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Dr. Ayman Sousan on Sunday evening met Chairman of the Foreign  Affairs and National Defense Committee at the Brazilian Senate Fernando de Mello and the accompanying delegation.

Sousan briefed the delegation on the latest developments of the situations in Syria in light of the gains achieved by the Syrian Arab Army against terrorist organizations which are considered a victory for all humanity and which will contribute to preserving international stability, peace and security as terrorism doesn’t have religion or borders.

He affirmed Syria’s determination to continue to combat terrorism till eradicating it completely and to deal with the honest efforts to get out of the crisis in framework of respecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Syrian Arab Republic and the noninterference in its internal affairs.

He asserted that the constitution and everything related to it is a Syrian sovereign right and an exclusive right for the Syrians.

For his part de Mello expressed the Brazilian people’s sympathy with the suffering of the Syrians due to the Takfiri terrorism.

He hailed the victories achieved by the Syrian Arab Army against terrorism, denouncing the policies adopted by the US administration which fuel tensions in the world.

Talks during the meeting also dealt with the historic relations binding the two countries and the necessity of enhancing them in different domains.
