Madrid, SANA – Syrian Wrestler Abdul Karim al-Hassan reached 67 Kg wrestling semifinals at the 2018 Mediterranean Games currently held in Tarragona, Spain.
Al-Hassan was qualified for the semifinals after beating his Portuguese competitor Pedro Caldas.
The next competition will bring together al-Hassan with the Egyptian Mohammed al-Sayyed who won over the Greek wrestler Apostolos Manouilidis.
The Syrian national wrestling team includes: Hussein al-Masri (52-kg category), Abdul Moueen Aziz (69-kg), Mohammed Mulayys (over 91-kg), Ahmed Ghossoun (75-kg), Alla Eddin Ghossoun (up to 91-kg) and Mohammed Kheir Musatat (64-kg).
The last batch of the Syrian mission participating at the Mediterranean Games 2018 arrived in Spain and it includes athletics, Jodo and cycling teams.
