Damascus, SANA- The Syrian expatriate photographer Hagoup Vanesian awarded honorable mention in War/Conflict category at the “Prix de la Photographie, Paris” P×3 2018 Competition.
Vanesia presented a series of photos entitled various stories, topped thousands of photos presented by photographers from more than 85 countries.
Hagoup Vanesian is born in 1970 in Aleppo. He started his career as a documentary photographer in 1999 and held several exhibitions in Aleppo, Damascus, Moscow and Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg.
In 2017, Moscow International Photography awards (MIFA) awarded Hagoup Vanesian in the competition with Honorable Mention in two categories: Editorial – War/Conflict for the winning entry “Determination to Survive”, and the People-Children category for the winning entry “Imitating”.
The “Prix de la Photographie, Paris” P×3 promotes the appreciation of photography, discovers emerging talent and introduces photographers from around the world to the artistic community of Paris. Each submitted photographs was evaluated by the esteemed professional Px3 Jury panel.
