Kazakh FM: Astana process to solve issues related to cessation of hostilities in Syria

Astana, SANA- Kazakh Foreign Minister Kairat Abdrakhmanov said that the guarantor states along with other parties are using Astana process to tackle issues related to the cessation of hostilities in Syria.

In statement on Thursday, Abdrakhmanov considered that the Geneva process is playing the main role in the political settlement under the auspices of the United Nations.

He said that the guarantor states share the positive assessment of Astana last round’s outcomes, hoping that additional efforts will be exerted to resolve the crisis in Syria through promoting peace and trust among the various parties.
