Provinces, SANA – 12 citizens were killed and 42 others were injured in terrorists’ mortar attacks in a number of provinces on Sunday.
A source at the Police Command told SANA that a mortar shell fired by terrorists fell near Bab Touma Square in Damascus, injuring three civilians, one of the a 13 year-old boy, and causing material damage to nearby cars.
Another shell fell in al-Hal market in al-Zablatani area, causing material damage to a car but no injuries.
Terrorists fired three shells on Kashkoul, Jaramana and Harasta, no human casualties were reported.
Terrorists fired a number of mortar shells on Tishreen neighborhood in Aleppo city, claiming the lives of 6 civilians and injuring 20 others.
An official source told SANA that a number of mortar shells fired by terrorists fell on Tishreen neighborhood, claiming the lives of 6 civilians and injuring 20 others, in addition to causing large material damage to the citizens’ properties.
The source added that the injured citizens were admitted to hospitals for treatment.
Meanwhile, six civilians were killed, among them three children, and another 19 injured due to terrorist attacks with mortars in Daraa city.
Mortar rounds launched by terrorists fell near al-Qusour School in al-Sabil neighborhood in the city, killing six civilians and wounding 19, a source at Daraa national hospital said.
The hospital received the bodies of six martyrs and 19 injured civilians, most of them children, including two critical cases which were transferred to Damascus city for treatment.
