22 civilians injured in Daesh shell attacks on vicinity of Yarmouk Camp

Damascus, SANA – 22 civilians were injured on Monday in mortar attacks launched by Daesh (ISIS) terrorists from inside al-Hajar al-Aswad.

The shells fell on the vicinity of al-Hajar al-Aswad near Yarmouk Camp while the buses were entering the area to evacuate the terrorists positioned there.

Dr. Fadi al-Abdeh from the ER in Damascus Hospital told SANA that 22 people injured by shrapnel from the attack have been admitted to the hospital, with the injuries ranging from abdominal to facial trauma.

Earlier, a source at Damascus Police command said that a number of mortar shells fired by Daesh terrorists landed on al-Batykha Roundabout on the vicinity of al-Hajar al-Aswad near Yarmouk Camp, injuring 15 civilians.

Since the early hours of the morning, buses have gathered near al-Batykha roundabout on the vicinity of the camp, to start the executive procedures of the agreement reached yesterday between the Syrian government and terrorist groups positioned in Yarmouk Camp which stipulates to remove the terrorists from the camp and liberating the besieged people in the towns of Kefraya and al-Fouaa, and the abductees from the town of Eshtabraq.
