Iranian Foreign Ministry: Latest Israeli aggression on Syria blatant violation of international law, seeks to strengthen terrorists

Tehran, SANA – Iranian Foreign Ministry strongly condemned on Monday the Israeli aggression on T-4 airbase in Homs countryside, stressing that the aggression is a clear violation of the international law that comes in the context of strengthening terrorism.

Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qasemi said in a statement that the Israeli aggression against Syria is a violation of national sovereignty and territorial integrity of this country, which runs counter to all international laws and regulations and complicates the situation in Syria and the region.

Qasemi said this action of the Zionist entity which comes amid field developments by the Syrian Arab Army is aimed to strengthen terrorist groups to deviate public opinion from Gaza catastrophe.

The spokesman underlined again Iran’s full support for territorial integrity and national sovereignty of Syria, calling on all countries and the international community to avoid being indifferent towards such an aggression that threatens international peace and security.
