Damascus Countryside, SANA – A solidarity stand was staged Monday in Jdeidat Artouz, Damascus countryside, to show solidarity with al-Quds and condemn Trump’s recognition of al-Quds (Jerusalem) as the capital of the Israeli occupation entity.
Participants in the stand that took place at St. George’s Church stressed that the US resolution harms Islamic and Christian holy places which has dangerous effects on the region and world.
Pastor Yohana Rizk, for his part, said that Syria is the land of civilizations and heavenly religions, adding that it will defeat terrorism and regain its status thanks to the Syrian army’s sacrifices and its wise leadership.
