Citrus convoy from Lattakia sent to families of Aleppo

Lattakia, SANA – A convoy of 13 trucks, carrying 171 tons of citrus, departed Lattakia province on Wednesday towards Aleppo province, as part of a campaign to support and market citrus.

“The step is ongoing to include all provinces, the citrus crop is procured from the farmer directly and sent into sorting, packing, and packaging centers through Syrian Establishment for Trading,” Governor of Lattakia Ibrahim Khoudr al-Salem said in a press statement, noting that this is the fourth batch of citrus during the current season.”
