SARC and ICRC in Aleppo: Delivering humanitarian aid to all Syrian citizens

Aleppo, SANA-Representatives of the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC) and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) branch in Aleppo affirmed that their efforts focus on delivering humanitarian aid and relief services to all Syrian citizens wherever they are and in full coordination with the Syrian government.

The talk came during a meeting with media outlets in Aleppo on Friday.

Head of ICRC at Aleppo province, George Kuminos, noted to the work on rehabilitating persons who lost limbs through the Artificial Limbs Center which is implemented in cooperation between the ICRC and the SARC.

In turn, Head of SARC in Aleppo, Hael Assi, said that their work aims at alleviating the suffering of citizens and meeting their basic needs, adding that the coming period will focus on the developmental and rehabilitation aspects through “improving livelihoods” project which aims at creating a state of sustainable development.
