Damascus, SANA-Sponsored by the Syrian government and supervised by the Higher Relief Committee, the Arab Palestinian Refugees’ General Commission and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) on Friday distributed 350 food packages to the locals of al-Yarmouk refugee camp who are trapped inside by the terrorist groups.
The Commission’s director Ali Mustafa told SANA that the medical center affiliated to the UNRWA continued to offer treatment and medicine to the patients, indicating that five new patients were evacuated from the camp.
Mustafa indicated that the number of patients who have been evacuated from the camp reached 4,475, affirming that the distribution of food packages will be resumed on Saturday.
He added that a total of 45,010 of food packages have been distributed in al-Yarmouk camp since January, 2014.
