Damascus, SANA – Temperatures continue to rise to become above average by 3 to 7 degrees as the country is affected by a superficial seasonal low pressure accompanied by a subtropical high air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the weather will be hot and clear in general with some scattered clouds, while the weather will be misty in the eastern, al-Jazira and al-Badia desert areas.
The winds will be changeable to northwesterly of low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 40/22, Daraa 38/21, Homs 36/24, Hama 41/25, Lattakia 32/25, Aleppo 40/24 and Deir Ezzor 44/27.
