Damascus, SANA – The temperatures will slightly rise to become above average by 2 to 4 degrees as the country is affected by a superficial Indian seasonal low pressure accompanied by a subtropical high air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the weather will be hot and the skies will be clear in general.
The winds will be westerly to southwesterly of low to moderate speed, and the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 40/22, Daraa 37/21, Homs 33/20, Lattakia 31/23, Aleppo 40/23 and Deir Ezzor 45/27.
