Center for promoting Syrian exports opened at Sharjah

Damascus, SANA – As part of the preparations for the upcoming Damascus International Fair and the efforts for promoting it, head of the Syrian Exporters Federation Mohammad al-Sawwah on Friday opened the center for promoting Syrian exports opened at Sharjah.

Al-Sawwah, who is on a tour of the UAE and Oman, said in a statement that the center compliments the two similar ones in Iran and Iraq that were opened earlier, and that businessmen can visit it to learn about the various Syrian products and how they are exported to the Gulf countries.

The 59th Damascus International Fair is due to be held on August 17-26 after a five year hiatus.
