Hama, SANA – A terrorist bombing took place in the western bus station in Hama city on Thursday, leaving four persons, among them two women, dead and 9 people injured.
Hama governor Mohammad al-Hazzouri told SANA that a terrorist suicide bomber blew himself up using an explosive belt in the western bus station in Hama city at a time when there was active movement of citizens at the station, leaving two women dead and injuring 11 others, two of them are in critical condition.
The governor added that after the terrorist bombing took place, two explosive devices were found in the station and were defused by the engineering unit members.
Earlier, a source at Hama Police Command said that the attack left two people dead and 9 others injured, noting that the buses in the site sustained material damage due to the bombing.
SANA reporter said that the terrorist bombing caused huge material damage to the entrance of the bus station, al-Imam Muslim Mosque and the infrastructure in the station.
