Damascus, SANA – The temperatures will drop slightly, yet they will remain 3 to 5 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial seasonal low air pressure accompanied by a subtropical high air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the weather will be hot and the skies will be clear in general, while the weather will be misty and very hot in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badiya desert areas.
The wind will be changeable to northwesterly with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
Tomorrow, the temperatures will continue to drop, yet they will remain 2 to 4 degrees above average, the weather will be hot, and the skies will be clear, while the weather will be misty in the eastern in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badiya areas.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 41/24, Daraa 38/23, Homs 36/22, Lattakia 30/23, Aleppo 41/24 and Deir Ezzor 45/27.
