Damascus, SANA – Temperatures will continue to rise to become over average by 5 to 8 degrees, as the country is affected by the Indian seasonal superficial low air pressure accompanied by a high air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the skies will be hot and clear in general and misty and very hot in the eastern areas, al-Jazira and al-Badiya.
The winds will be western to northwestern of low to moderate speed, while the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 40/20, Daraa 39/20, Homs 36/21, Hama 41/22, Lattakia 30/21, Aleppo 40/20 and Deir Ezzor 45/25.
