Temperatures to drop, rain expected in most areas across the country

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures continue to rise to become above average from 3 to 5 degrees as the country is affected by the Indian seasonal superficial low air pressure accompanied by a high air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the skies will be hot and clear in general and misty and very hot in the eastern areas, al-Jazira and al-Badia (desert).

The winds will be western to northwestern of low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 38/19, Daraa 38/19, Homs 39/20, Hama 42/21, Lattakia 32/23, Aleppo 40/23 and Deir Ezzor 45/23.
