SARC distributes aid among 61 families from two villages in Sweida province

Sweida, SANA – The Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) branch in the city of Shahba, Sweida province, distributed over the past two days aid among 61 families that fled the recent terrorist attacks on the villages of Dama and Deir Dama.

Head of the branch Karim al-Saleh told SANA’s correspondent that the aid, which was distributed with the help of Shahba City Council and the local charity association, consisted of food baskets, mattresses, and blankets, adding that aid distribution will continue during the coming days.

He also said that the branch set up a housing center in the city near the local charity association to receive people from terrorism-affected villages, and that this center has been fully furnished.
