Idleb, SANA – Governor of Idleb Safwan Abu Saadi stressed that all facilitations are provided to secure delivery of aid to the beneficiaries in the province.
During a meeting with a delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) on Tuesday, Abu Sa’adi pointed out that the Syrian government is securing the biggest part of the relief supplies provided to the needy and terrorism-affected families.
He affirmed that all medical, education and social services are available in the province, calling for increasing cooperation between the governorate and the ICRC to further boost relief work in the province.
Coordinator of the Relief Department at the ICRC, for his part, highlighted the necessity of enhancing consultation and coordination with Idleb governorate in the relief work field with the aim of increasing aid supplies through setting up joint work programs.
While hailing the Syrian government’s efforts with regard to ensuring the delivery of humanitarian aid convoys, the ICRC coordinator stressed commitment to continue support for and coordination with the Syrian government to that effect.
