Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will drop to become from 3 to 5 degrees below average as the country is affected by a low air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Saturday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy in general and rain showers accompanied with thunder sometimes are expected over the northwestern and the coastal areas.
The wind will be westerly to southwesterly with a moderate speed and it will be accompanied by active gusts with speed exceeds 50 km per hour sometimes causing dust in some of the inland areas while the sea waves will be medium to high in amplitude.
Tomorrow, the temperatures will rise, yet they will remain below average and the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and thundershowers are expected over the northwestern and al-Jazeera areas.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 25/13, Daraa 24/13, Homs 23/13, Lattakia 22/16, Aleppo 24/12 and Deir Ezzor 30/16.
