Deir Ezzor, SANA- Army and Armed Forces units, backed by the Syrian Air Force, killed and injured a number of ISIS terrorists in Deir Ezzor city and its surroundings.
A military source said army units foiled an attack by ISIS terrorist groups in the surroundings of the graveyards area and al-Muwazafin neighborhood in Deir Ezzor city, killing 28 terrorists and injuring 30 others.
The source added that a tank, 2 BMP vehicles, 2 vehicles equipped with 23 mm machineguns were destroyed during the clashes in addition to seizing a rigged with bomb bulldozer.
The reporter added that army units backed by the Air Force engaged in fierce clashes with ISIS terrorist groups which attacked military points in the surroundings of Deir Ezzor Airport and Liwa al-Tamin, killing more than 20 terrorists.
SANA’s reporter in Deir Ezzor said that the Air Force carried out night raids against ISIS terrorists’ movements and sites in al-Thurda, al-Maqaber (graveyards), and the factories and dumps areas, and in the neighborhoods of al-Khasarat, al-Kanamat, al-Ardi, and al-Sheikh Yasen in the city and in al-Jafraa village, destroying a number of vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns and killing and injuring a number of ISIS terrorists.
