Damascus, SANA – The 4th international expo for companies and businessmen services, Servex 2017, kicked off on Sunday at Dama Rose Hotel in Damascus, with the participation of over 60 companies.
The first day of the three-day expo, which is organized by Mashhadani International Group for Expos and Conferences, included the unveiling of the new Shahba car produced by the Syrian-Iranian car manufacturing company Siamco, for which there will be offers during the expo that provide discounts of around SYP 900,000.
In a statement to journalists, Economy and Foreign Trade Minister Mohammad Samer al-Khalil said that Syrian products will return in a strong manner in the foreign markets it used to reach, and that activity in the future will focus more on exports.
Khalil said that Servex 2017 is an important opportunity for companies to promote their services considering the growing number of participants compared to 2016.
For his part, Director-General of Mashhadani International Group Khalaf Mashhadani said that the participation of some Arab companies including ones from Kuwait, the UAW, and Egypt despite the current conditions in Syria is a positive indicator.
