Terrorist attack on high-voltage power lines causes increase in power rationing hours

Damascus, SANA- Terrorists attacked four high-voltage power lines in the country’s central region, a source at the Electricity Ministry said.

The attack caused a number of power plants to go offline, which led to an increase in the power rationing hours in the provinces of Homs, Hama, Idleb, Aleppo and Deir Ezzor.

The source said that maintenance teams have commenced work to repair the damage and restore power within three days at the most.
