Damascus, SANA – The tenth Scientific Conference of Damascus Doctors’ Syndicate kicked off on Thursday at the Damarose Hotel in Damascus.
The three-day conference will include 40 scientific lectures and workshops distributed among 8 scientific sessions in which a number of specialized doctors and experts will take part.
The conference will also include the Third Medical Health Exhibition “Med Health”, which is organized by Masarat Company for Exhibitions and Conferences.
Around 38 companies specialized in medical fields, pharmaceutical companies and services companies from several provinces and representatives of international companies will participate in the exhibition.
In turn, Deputy Health Minister Ahmad Khleifawi highlighted the importance of scientific activities in keeping doctors updated with the latest international advancements, which make them more experienced and improve the level of the profession in general and the services provided to patients in particular.
In a statement to SANA, Director of Masarat Company Anas Dhabian said the Med Health exhibition always coincides with the Damascus Doctors Conference to provide an opportunity for service providers to meet with medical and pharmaceutical companies where both sides can conclude deals and reach agreements.
He added that what distinguishes this third edition of the exhibition is the number of representatives of foreign companies, which numbers 38, representing 17 countries, including Iran, the United States, Germany and France.
The lectures to لاe delivered during the conference will discuss cardiovascular, immunosuppression, autism, hemorrhage, tumors, and infectious diseases, renal and endocrine issues.
