Damascus, SANA – Minister of State for Organizations and Federations Affairs Salwa Abdullah discussed with Chairman of the Syrian Federation of International Freight Forwarders(SFIFF), Mohammed Saleh Kaishour, members of its board of directors means to enhance and develop the federation’s work and solve the problems it is facing.
Minister Abdullah said the government is interested in activating the work of the federations in general and the transport and freight companies in particular due to the important role they play in facing the repercussions of the unilateral coercive economic measures imposed on the Syrian people and the terrorist war waged on the country.
The Minister called for cooperation and concerted efforts to solve the problems and obstacles that are facing the federation’s work to enable it to achieve its goals through identifying these problems and developing a mechanism for overcoming them.
For his part, Kaishor said the federation has not stopped working despite all the challenges it has faced and the damage and losses it has suffered, relying on its existing capabilities.
He pointed out that the federation has been communicating with the Ministry of Transportation to find a new mechanism to safeguards the rights of all parties operating in the transport field.
He referred to the ongoing meetings with the companies affiliated to the federation and have offices in Arab countries to continue the work of transporting and shipping goods to the world countries.
