Damascus, SANA – Temperatures tend to rise to become above average by 2 to 4 degrees as the country is affected by superficial low air pressure from the south accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general, noting that rain showers are expected during the afternoon and evening over southern and southeastern areas in the country.
The wind will be variable and west-easterly of low speed, while the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 17/04, Daraa 19/06, Homs 18/02, Hama 20/04, Lattakia 21/8,Aleppo 18/04, and Deir Ezzor 19/05.
