Damascus, SANA-Temperatures continue to rise to become around or slightly above average as the country is affected by a superficial high air pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Tuesday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general; local rain showers are expected in the mountains. The Department warned against the formation of ice and frost in the mountains
and some inland areas.
The winds will be southeastern of low speed, while the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 15/04, Daraa 18/04, Homs 16/01, Hama 18/01, Lattakia 21/07, Aleppo 16/01 and Deir Ezzor 17/04.
